We often think about trees as something that simply grows.

But if you look at a cut tree, you can see its whole journey in the rings inside it. Every ring comes from a different year, a different season, a different part of its life.

We liked that idea.

Because good things rarely happen all at once. They grow slowly, one layer at a time.

That is where Astolico began.

We wanted to create a water bottle that felt right for the places it was meant to be in — hotels, restaurants, cafés and other spaces where even simple things are part of the experience.

But we also wanted to question something we have become used to: using plastic for a few minutes and leaving it behind for much longer.

So we started looking for a better way.
